Prince George is Christened: Making just his second public appearance since his July birth Prince George of Cambridge charmed the crowds who waited outside of St. James Palace to catch a glimpse of the heir as he headed inside for his christening. Third in line to the throne, the tiny tot boasts seven Godparents, which to the surprise of many, do not include his uncle Prince Harry or aunt Pippa Middleton.
Kim and Kanye are Engaged: It was not a matter of "if" but "when," and Kanye West finally popped the question to Kim Kardashian in front of family and friends in San Francisco.The “Jesus Walks” rapper rented out AT&T Park for the big proposal, to which his baby mamma gave an enthusiastic "yes."
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Call it Quits: After three years of marriage, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and his supermodel wife announced their separation. Through a spokesperson, the duo said "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."
Rashida Jones Calls Out Fellow Actresses: Fed up with the way her fellow actresses represent themselves on Twitter, the "Parks and Recreation" star took to her own Twitter account to urge them to "stop acting like whores." "This week's celeb news takeaway: she who closest to showing the actual inside of her vagina is most popular. #stopactinglikewhores," she said. "Let me clarify. I don't shame ANYone for anything they choose to do with their lives or bodies... BUT I think we ALL need to take a look at what we are accepting as 'the norm.'"
Jamie Dornan Cast as Christian Grey: With "Fifty Shades of Grey" production set to begin soon, the previously vacated role of Christian Grey was filled by Jamie Dornan. In a tweet on the choice, "Fifty Shades" writer EL James wrote, "Stow your twitchy palms ladies … our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1."
